I dropped off a wedding dress a little over a week ago and said I only wanted it given a quick clean only because it was going to be donated anyway. The woman said that's fine and she wrote "clean only" on the ticket. Today my mom picked up the dress for me and called me to say that she was blown away by the cost of this cleaning. $79.50. I called Murrer's to say that I was really unhappy with the price because I only asked for a quick clean and the woman told me that she spent a lot of time hand cleaning it. I did not ask her to do that and they only offered an apology. I understand the extensive work was done but I didn't ask to have that done and now I'm out $80.
