Would I come back again... probably....
Pictured: Veggie Wild Rice Burger w/ a Side Salad ($11.29), Bleu Shroom Burger on Texas Toast ($11.29) w/ side of Onion Rings (+3.99), "Soup of the Day" - Cup of Beef Stew ($4.99) w/ a House Salad ($4.25) & their "House Made" Munster Cheese Sticks ($8.69) w/ a Cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup ($4.99).
Our server was a very pleasant young lady, prompt on our drink orders, knew the menu well and even offered a few suggestions. She also informed us that a lot of their dressings and sauces are scratch made. Also their prices didn't seem too out of line for your typical burger/sandwich fare. Our food came in a timely fashion. It was good...but it wasn't something to write home about. You do get quite a bit of food, some of us ended up taking half of our meals back to the hotel.
Mainly because some of the furniture, booths included are worn, It is a little outdated. But if you like old metal signs (or replicas), dark wood paneling, hunter green painted walls you'll enjoy it. It's definitely a casual lounge feel. Of course the place does have its regular happy hour "bar flies" that were quite boisterous at the time.... No big deal they probably left 20 minutes after we arrived.
this was the first time my family went there, food that was order. I had a hamburg, it taste so bad, it had a back taste. My mother had casserole ,second mouth. Full there was a very long piece of hair. She caught the hair down her throat , she pulled it out slowly and could not get it out of her throat, the waiter said I am sorry . The meal is free, after that mom was not going there again,
Good home food cooking. My family and I stayed in hotel here, yes it's dated yes it's used but worth the money low cost. Seriously
Really great place, came here twice on our vacation to Hibbing. Huge portions, delicious food, and very reasonable prices.
We were here on Saturday, September 16th, 2017.
But, if there's another "sit down" eatery in Hibbing that peaks my curiosity the next time I'm traveling through I'll be going there first.
Looked this place up online, ordered food to go based on the prices listed online on their menu. Picked up food was more expensive than what online prices quoted. When I spoke to restaurant manager Keith he refused to honor online prices. Said their online must be wrong but their prices are their prices. 15 dollars for a soggy burger and 6 big, but ice cold onion rings. Never see another dollar from me. Hope they enjoy the 3 bucks extra they got from me on that transaction cause there will never be another one.
